economics4u.co.uk is pleased to offer this informative one-day
conference hosted by Cheltenham Ladies’ College. The aim
is to give A2 Economics students and their teachers an
enjoyable but intensive revision day, during which students
will get the opportunity to update their subject knowledge
under the guidance of Edexcel Senior Examiners.
The day will be led by Quintin Brewer (Edexcel
Chief Examiner), Rachel Cole (Edexcel Principal Examiner)and Paul Bullen-Smith (Edexcel
Examiner). In addition there will be a keynote talk by Robert Chote,
Director of the IFS. The emphasis of this revision day will be
on units 5 and 6. However, there will be a session on unit 4 at
the end of the day for those students taking this unit in the
summer. The talks will cover both content issues and
examination technique.
The conference is supported financially by Cheltenham Ladies’ College. The cost is £5 per student, £10 per
teacher and students will be provided with a summary of notes
for the presentations. There will be opporunity to question the
examiners.
